Yes there also is a MuLab 32 bit version for both OSX and Windows, see http://www.mutools.com/mulab-downloads.htmllingyai wrote:Whoa, whoa... is this to say there is no 32 bit version of MuLab 4? I'm on 32 bit.

I bought Mulab and i fell in love with it instantly
It feels so refreshing. Simple things like automatic suggested song name based on time and date so you don't have to figure out an amazing title straight away... not a big feature, but it helps!
You get to choose exactly what vst/i's you want to see. I know other programs offer it in similar ways, but this has got the fastest workflow that i've found.
Once you've touched the modular approach of EnergyXT you know you can't live without it. Mux has all that XT had, but soo much better and soo much more!
It sort of made the RE thing very -Meh-.
The only thing with midi i miss is separate grid sizes for length and quantize (so i can have 16th snapping at 32th's length or 16th+32th length.
Otherwise I think there's no midi functions missing.
I know it's easy to feel like the "big names" have to be better somehow. After all, that's how evolution instructed our brains to think. But if you for a second manage to wipe away all memory of "most advertised", "most threads about", most f*nb*ys", "most iCool", "most assumed units sold" and look at all the sequencers available i think Mulab would be on top without a doubt.

Sorry... my question was whether MUlab FAILS on any of these points. Does "yes" mean that it fails, or that it is fine?

Crackbaby -- does it disappoint you in any way which matters to you?Crackbaby wrote:I bought Mulab and i fell in love with it instantlyIt feels so refreshing. The lack of multi-threading is disappointing of course, but it seem to have high priority.
I couldn't drag'n'drop from Maschine but that's not really an issue i guess..
I couldn't find any time-stretch, though it seemed to chop up loops automatically.
The sampler can't automate sample start... But im about to start lobby activism to sort this out
It's awesome to modulate it with velocity on drum samples(!)
When i first got Orion i was much more enthusiastic but this time i have learned to stay calm. Or attempt to
I got pretty upset seeing how Orion wasn't as i had imagined and that development seemingly had stopped. So try the demo and push it to the limits. Try to do all the things you could do in your previous DAW and see how Mulab handles this. Im a sucker for infatuation

I must admit i have underestimated the built in synths that comes with Mulab. Only gone through a few i can tell you that the organs and pads sounds very beautiful! It's worth checking out

I started to like it too, I've set up MIDI out in almost a split second and was happily driving my Yamaha Synthesizer, easier than Orion and hundred times easier than Studio one
Actually I still can't get Studio One going with MIDI out... neither as VST... my Hardware synth has no chance there... well, it was love on first sight but now I almost hate it with a passion... so easy to do anything in it... yet no Fricken MIDI out.... If I can get used to with everything else with Mulab... i'll be getting it;) good stuff
