I got this e-mail too and I was able to download the whole thing at last. It seems they are fixing things.

Dune BE is a heck of a freebie, havent tried the others yet.

I got an email with second link too ... maybe they're sending them to everyone who registered

It seems so, I also received the email. FWIW, I had no problem successfully downloading using the same link that failed for others.

I received this too and successfully downloaded this time. Their first link did not work for me.

Probably a good download for some but I ran through the presets and nothing stood out to me that I don't already have from the other plugs I have. I don't really use synths that much so maybe that's why. Uninstalled it.

Good freebie though.

Is this typical of synapse support or is it just because this is seen as a freebie ?

Either way not good.

In the email I sent them, I explained that I was from this forum - and that a number of people were unable to download the file. I also requested an alternate direct link to the zip file. After that I received a second email from them, with the new link. So if anyone doesn't have the download yet or didn't get another email, simply send them an email and request the new link.

Synapse is basically a two person operation at the moment and a handful of loyal beta testers who help when we can. Unfortunately I can't help with this as I don't own a Mac.

I see someone has started a thread at the Synapse Forum. Hopefully there will be an answer shortly......

I just realized that the link I gave earlier goes to the search page rather than to the thread I was referring to, apologies for that.

This thread might be helpful:

there is a workaround though: Open the Logic AU Manager and enable DUNE manually there, should work afterwards.
