Same here until I installed Internet Download Manager. Works great. :)
I'm not going to install an add on for a browser I never use just to get a tiny download. Beat is the only place I ever have problems downloading anything.

But they sent out new links to a functioning server so it's all good.

So Baniev should download that for free and he'll get a better version of Dune than he would get from Cm and get it now (along with a bunch of other free plugins). Original question answered, problem solved......but no that won't be good enough I fear.

Yes you can certainly do both. Enjoy Dune BE version now (which has more Mod Matrix slots than the CM version) and still buy Computer Music magazine which will give you a lot of extra plugins, samples and print content.

so I got the dune LE version and it is a bit limited. it is a good synth and works well, but the Hydra is much better than the dune in my opinion. the Hydra has a cleaner sound and the middle frequencies are equed a bit too high on the Dune, compared to Junglyst and Hydra. But it is a nice extension for my synth collection for sure.

What? :nutter: Dune kills Hydra even Dune LE..and yes I own Hydra and have for years...to be honest they aren't even the same style of instrument.

Dune even the LE version is perfect for what you asked....how did you get the LE version or do you mean the BE version? You've been difficult to please all through this thread.......all for 30 quid..........I'm done with you.

I downloaded the package Beat Studiostarter and the version on the file is the LE version of Dune. when you open the Dune folder it says Dune LE. the synth is good but the sound of hydra is better in my opinion. But you don not have to take it personally, the Dune is a good synth and I will use it definatly, but the Hydra sounded more like Junglyst, while the Dune does not have the junglyst sound.
