OTOH, I know many good artists whose songs are not sounding the same, for example Gotye or Foster The People... :)
I agree. I'm not a huge FTP fan, in fact, I don't really like them much. But they don't sound f**king smashed/squashed and rammed. Also, they are pretty damn good live (they are on maybe palladia??)

I love Gotye. I can't believe it took getting popular to hear it but I like it (I only have the latest, dimples didn't have anything else used or new but you can youtube it)

Anyhow.......

The worst part is, you can't even tell them apart anymore

Add a teen-vampire-romance angle and you'd have the makings of the next summer blockbuster movie.

closed minded tunnel visioned zombie sheep? Sounds like you are tired of the trash too :hihi:

This was proven a long time ago, nothing going to done about it either. The sheeples like it like that.

I sort of agree. But then why were people not- so-sheeple in the 60's and 70's? The species hasn't changed biologically in that time. Something happened to them, to their poor brains, that made them confused about what they wanted. Now they think they want the lowest quality choices, which they tire of instantly, so they have to illegally download another 50 tracks three days later.

On the plus side, the music industry has figured out how to fully indoctrinate the toddlers and pre-teens into the Wall of Hemogeneity…

(a particular delight, if you like the Wall of Homogeneity)

(ditto)

Mission accomplished!
You need to limit that rez, bro.
