I remember there was some event in Munich (at the Königsplatz) with David Guetta and the entrance fee was between 80 Euro and 180 Euro!!

No wonder, that these "top DJ's" are amassing so much money...if David Guetta would call himself DJ Muller or so, he would not get one penny...it's just for the "globally recognized name", not for the quality of music...

I never would pay 80 Euro (or more) for a concert or DJ event, I rather would buy a new synthesizer or controller or something. Maybe I would pay 80 Euro to meet David Guetta personally and get some producing tips...

Exactly. If I'd buy a synthesizer plugin for €180, I could make music myself for the whole life. If I'd buy a VIP entrance ticket for a DJ event with David Guetta at the same price, as soon as the party is over the money is gone and I'm feeling sad.

Superstar DJs are the 3D of the music world. You pay more than the price of a regular ticket but you don't really get anything extra out of the experience.

I just had an epiphany... ok, stay with me on this one... so what if you get a couple of David Guetta look-alikes and you ship them out across the continent, or the world even... say you have three shows going at once, right? At $100+ a pop, right?

At first, nobody would know the difference, right? It's not like the Rolling freaking Stones, where if you have a Rolling Stones tribute band you can actually tell it's not really Mick, Keith, Ron, and Charlie... Or and Eddie Van Halen imposter... it's David Guetta... I mean, what does he even look like? Like a gazillion other dudes, right? It's not like he's up there with his own signature guitar riffs... just a dude with scraggly hair boppin' along to some music, right? This is like a no-brainer.

Now here's the thing... so eventually it gets out that David Guetta is playing in three places at exactly the same time... facebook, twitter, and all that... now you turn that around back on the customer... you have tickets for David Guetta at The Roxy on Aug 4th... is it really him? Iiii doooonnn't knooowwwww! You're gonna have to show up to find out, yo! Exciting!!! I'd pay extra to be part of that.
