It does!

Even the GUI of the plugin looks much better within REAPER...

Ok, back on track here...

Still sitting in front of Reaper. Don't ask me why I never used freeze in Logic, but playing with it in Reaper is nice. I can see myself using it in both DAWs. I think i have more buttons than I need at the top, but for now it will be helpful.

Also making plugin folders. That too is helpful and has put the light back on a few plugs that got lost in the menus of Logic.

there is no denying reaper is powerful.

freeze is a fairly new thing to reaper. Seems to work well. (I never need to use it, I just do stems if I need a ghost track) We did some testing a while back and it most certainly frees ram and cpu. Apparently, not all hosts work that way.

One other thing I noticed that I really like.

Say you have one long midi note. In Logic you would have to play the note from the beginning in order for it to sound. If you started playing halfway through the note you would get nothing (unless I'm missing a setting). Reaper plays the note regardless of where you start. Nice.

If I had to pick one thing as "the" best thing about Reaper, it wouldn't be the routing, it would be the mouse modifiers.

Every media workstation really should have that.

I am a power reaper user. xD

have been long working in reason, then cubase, logic never got my attention...,
and then found this 5 MB wonder. I will never switch back.

Just test it and you will see. It is a lot more customizable and a lot easier for use if you ask me, and the SWS extensions are the best, you can practically do everything.. the shortcuts that you can customize are awesome.

and the media browser? That has to be the coolest thing if you are working with loops.

and the themes? they are wonderfull... you wanna a cubase look? just a few clicks, you want a dark minimal look? just a few clicks.

and it is ideal for those who work only with one monitor.

this is the best small program i have ever used.

but dont forget, reaper is fully customizable and does not come with some great synths or effects like cubase. Everything else is your thing.

Good point.
Probably most of the time we purchase a DAW we are paying for those included synths etc. while they may be used or not, you get charged for and still we will use our synths of choice regardless.
So I prefer reaper approach.

Well, I grew up in Alabama. My cousin and I can't legally marry, but that doesn't mean we don't love each other. We have nine children together and wish they were as customizable as Reaper. If so, we would start by adding the correct number of arms and legs.
