Phase:
A phase shifter / phase delay. It lets you arbitrarily adjust the phase of a sound. This allows to change the stereo image, avoid inverted phase situations or create stereo from a mono signal. Applications for fx:phase include stereo channel re-alignment, vocal removal, MS Matrix processing, center/surround encoding and a lot more.

This is a cool plugin. Is there a similar plugin available from another developer? One that is 32bit and 64bit for Windows 7 PC VST?

Iv'e got these in Sonar but they won't work in my other hosts Theo :-(
I do have other Cakewalk FX such as Percussion and Vocal strip though that came with Sonar working in other hosts.

No need to be sad, since you can now buy them for 20 bucks to be used in other hosts. ;)

Good buy..

p.s. i think the ones with sonar are sonar locked.. not 100% sure but that could explain why they wouldn't work.. anyway at that price it is a steal.. i started looking up the gui's since i made my post to see how accurate my memory was and to have some reminiscing and it all came back to me, i am certain i would use these effects extensively today if i had access to them.
Hehe they are locked Theo i already tried to use them but only certain plugs are available to use in other hosts but £14.99 was a steal so i'm so happy i got this lot. That delay was my fav for a few years before i dumped Sonar X1 to the shelf for life. I'll definately make good use of this bundle later today :-)

Should have read the small print :x
Please Note: System Requirements
This download was intended for use with 32-bit versions of Windows 2000/XP. On 64-bit Windows Vista & Windows 7 it will only install as 32-bit plug-ins.

it's the lack of x64 that put me off

No doubt these are good plugins but personally I wouldn't buy a product that is dead or almost dead. Secondly, in comparison ToneBoosters plugins are not that bad at the same price range (well, little bit more than Sonitus), plus you get both 32 and 64bit, the dev is also very active.

This is not done, just read the paragraph below that system requirements. I thought they don't have 64 bit versions at all. But they do, it's included in X1 studio still they don't offer with this download. Man, I am confused.
SONAR X1 Studio also includes the entire Sonitus Suite (as both 32-bit and 64-bit plug-ins) and is supported on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

I bought them in a similar sale a few years ago. I love them, and still use them as my go to effects in Ableton, alongside the Ableton effects themselves. In some cases the Ableton effects are better but for others the Sonitus ones rule.

At that price, it's really a must have suite. The reverb and delay are great. Also the Gate (there's very few better ones even now, and none at that price). Surround is more useful that you might think, and also Phase. Heck, they are all really good :tu:

The versions shipped with Sonar X1 are 32bit/64bit DX plugins, not VST plugins. You can 'create' 32-bit/64-bit VST plugins out of them using the xlutop bridgethingy but CW dont make 64-bit VST versions, only 32-bit VST versions.

And yet this description kinda sorta says both 32 and 64 are included in the package:

Now you can use them in any VST-compatible Windows Vista/Windows 7 DAW (includes 32 and 64-bit versions).
So your guess is as good as mine...
You need to limit that rez, bro.

Thanks for clearing that up. They should have clearly mentioned it on that page. Anyway, FFX-4 from VB-Audio can be used to load DX plugins in VST form. It's a free plugin and as the name indicate, it can load only 4 max. They have a 16 rack version available as well but I guess 4 for free is good enough.

Rob, try this out if you wanna use these as VST. There is no direct link to their download page but go to their freeware page and you will see it.
