Something like that yes. Beek used to compete and he always won. I suppose he threw his own compos as well I know i did anyways. Those were the days #Trax, Virt used to hang out in there as well, damned skilled tracker too.VitaminD wrote:beekcompo on irc?Majken wrote:Fun fun fun!.. This was easy for me to figure out how to get the raw data since I did it by accident before. My problem is with figuring Splifty out. I have the waves there but how do I get the sound to record as a wave file from Splifty. I am a dummy when it comes to these type of plugins. I have it loaded into Cubase SL but everytime I render to wave there is nothing there. Any help would be appreciated.

super fun
I used to do this few years back with trackers too
there are some sweet samples available from those files
I got ear-shattering feedback noise from the outputs of couple of plugins though
but no problems with their raw waves, which, like I said, were sweet so no problem

Of course drumloops aren't allowed
Except if you create them from raw pcm sound

Any drum loops would have to be derived from SmartElectronix synths, or effects, with no other source material.

Is anyone using Soundforge to import the data? I gave it a shot with no result. Is there a method to doing this in SF? Or should I look elsewhere to import the raw data?

Bram - sorry if this was asked elsewhere already. I would like to use 'Mad Shifta' possibly. Is that more a 'Toby Bear' product, or Smart?

I already submitted my entry but it was over the 3 minute limit. Can I resubmit? What to do?

Worked fine for me in SF v6.Puffer wrote:Is anyone using Soundforge to import the data? I gave it a shot with no result. Is there a method to doing this in SF? Or should I look elsewhere to import the raw data?
Go to open dialog, select file type "Raw File (*.*)".
Accept the default import settings and away you go.
Cheers,
Steve
