Well, i was thinking of getting back from the fishes and starting up the site again. Might not be all that much interest in this now since there's tons of free samples to download but anyways..

I still use the kalava stuff extensively...
It's not so much that it's the most or most varied amount of samples, but it seems to be the right ones with no bullshit.
It's like, I can scroll through 100 cymballs, or just go to my kalava folder where there's only 10 or so, but I know they'll be good.
If you don't mind, Lars, I'll host some of the .zips on my ftp....maybe between me and BD we can get the stuff available again...

Definately Lars! I've been a fan of Kalava since '99, and was heartbroken that it 'went with the fishes'. I kept your samples as my 'secret weapon', and after numerous questioning as to where I get my drums, I pointed folks to your website...
Needless to say, they thought I was a big liar as it turned out your site had vanished!
So if anything, put it back to clear my good name!

Please don't share them, they are NOT copyright free ya know. Some of the samples are from the ROM of an Roland XV-5080. Sharing the XV samples was the reason that I killed of the archive in the first place.Kriminal wrote:6 folders:
