exs24 question aka Guiro 2

following on from my question about guiro sounds last week i been doing a bit of digging and it seems that with the samples that were linked in that post i am able to make a exs24 instrument in logic.

Is this right or am i way off?

If this is right i will start digging more into logic and exs24 if not how can i use these samples?
