But he deserves his payment, it is a wonderful plugin and supporting him will make it even better. I love the small developers that frequent KVR, listen to and implement our requests where possible. Hopefully MUX will be mine in the next week or so, i want to make a bunch of stuff. I think even my default DAW template will be easier, just make a rack of MUX and then select the presets i need from there, really simple! I wonder if you start to run into any trouble having a bunch of instances though, i haven't tried that with heavy-duty synths like Diva.

The Note to Modulation Converter has a random output. Route it to Amp, Filter, Reso, Env, LFO, ... scale it and each note will sound different.

That is not what I mean. I need it to create & alter patches for VSTi and MUx (play editor). Up to now I have to use an extra plugin like Chainer for this.

Would be great if this were a DAW-functionality!

Well the chords in my default setup are just simple triads in c major, then these feed into scale changer and get transposed to whatever scale and key I choose, while still 'playing' everything from the piano roll in c major. You can either define inversions directly in midiChords first or after writing the output to the piano roll by recording what you play on another track (or in a host like Reaper recording the output coming after the MUX) you can then just manually add inversions in the piano roll by hand, but you will easily see what notes fit based on the original triads and can just add them then.

I am officially disabled and my brain can't think straight enough to remember or control my fingers well enough to play all the scales I want properly, so that's why I needed this sort of 'cheating' setup. But I figure it is no different than a wing player or harmonica player having different instruments with different tunings. I just use technology to give me a simplified keyboard but what keys I play is still dependent on my inspiration or lack thereof. Anyhow before MUX this was a pain in Studio One, Reaper actually can do this but that's not my host of choice anymore, again poor brain and wanting simplicity got me to S1 but the routing sucks, lucky for me here MUX is and so nicely resolving the issue!

Oh, and if you can live with the piano roll staying in c major and the plugin always transposing, you can change keys and scales for your composition at will whenever you like

You would have to do it track by track but maybe there is even a way to automate that somehow.

I finally just 'broke down' and bought MUX. No more fence-sitting for me. I'm interested to see what everyone else comes up with.
