Rejoice, YOU are an eternal spirit soul! Only temporarily a 'hibidy' and all the baggage that comes with that! OK I'll shut up now. What about that MUX? GREAT PLUGIN!

Yeah, multicore....it's like 2006 all over again :hihi:

Well I had 2 feature requests in the last few days and Jo implemented them both! I don't expect this to happen much more, maybe it is just luck that my requests were simple to implement, but it definitely shows active development from a developer that is listening to his users. I was mightily impressed. It really is a great plugin and I really appreciate what it does for my setup. I really hope as many as possible jump at buying MUX as it will keep the wheels greased and development humming along. Other plugins may do the same thing but none that I've tried are as easy to use.

xt was hip at one point.

Post

'Hip' or not, it gets the job done, is 64 bit, and is currently in development with very frequent updates that improve quality. I'm not after hip, I'm after functional and even if development stopped today, its got that already.

I'm not referring to MUX as anything other than hip. Hell yeah, seems cool. I still think it's a bit pricy (not outrageous or anything, just pricy)

I was just saying xt a long time ago had updates galore and was responded to regularly.

:) cool. Regarding pricey, there is a promo going on right now for 49 euros,

Excellent news, this will likely turn some of the interest into sales (like me ... shortly), great move!

Unfortunately MUX offers very little in the way of original features to grab people who already have a modular on board, it does not save as vst (Would grab the SE and SM users as it would be x64 and i guess OSX) it does not have very advanced drum sampling in terms of DFD/Round Robin or Random robin/layering, it does not do much in the way of synthesis or effects that has not been done already in most modulars or free plugins, simply put it lacks a lot of components for advanced users, and like it or not usability does not have as much impact on sales as some in this thread may think (Reaper would have zero sales, which is very much not the case)

This is a massive shame because it is obviously a very high quality product that seems to have been released way too early.

As it is a lot of people will hold out for a v2 or 3 with better capabilities and i hope the dev garners enough sales to warrant making those later versions.

I suspect a bunch of people will jump all over this post but i am only being honest about why i am not buying in to this app right now even at reduced price :(

Well for me it wasn't as much about being a modular synth as a chainer. i have round robins etc in my VSTs that can be wrapped in MUX. Instead of routing everything in my DAW which is a pain, I can use LFOs and arps in this abstracted environment with easy workflow. I get it isn't for everyone and that there are probably more powerful options out there, but it works really well for me.
