Try to run FL Studio in administrator mode. This often helps for windows protection problems (which it mosty is). Rightclick on the application shortcut, choose "compatibility", and check "run as administrator", then save; this gives back full rights to an application that's restricted by windows protection (as performed in a normal user account when the plugin resides within the system's program file folder)

You're welcome;
the cleanest solution of all is to have the vst plugins folder somewhere else that in the program files folder (which unfortunately in most cases is the standard); as far as I'm concerned I'm even having them in a folder on a separate disc
another clean solution is generally only to use the administrator account for a music system; this one has no restrictions compared to a normal user account where you are treated like a child; the administrator account is not active by default, but it can be activated somewhere in the system settings; afterwards it will be showed as login option at startup; in fact it's ridicilous that this is not the standard account when you buy windows by yourself
microsoft should make an edition of windows only for the professional audio market with all that protection and energy saving shit deactivated one has to turn off anyway; but I guess the market for this is too tiny for the ms giant...

For me, everything works except the Load Bank button. I just use Abletons load Bank button instead. The others like Save Bank, Load Preset, Save Preset all work, but no popup at all comes up with Load Bank. I have the OP-X II folder right next to the dll in a Sonic Projects folder in my VST folder and all the other buttons go right to it, but not Load Bank. I log in as administrator too. No big deal, just kind of weird.

I'm having trouble too in Flstudio 9.1 (and 9.6 beta).muLperi wrote:I'm having troubles getting the new version work in FLStudio...
There's no sound at all and the buttons don't respond.
Anyone else?
I tested both on my laptop 7 (32bit) and desktop 7 (64bit).
In both versions on both Pc's OPX-Pro II does not make any sound and buttons does not respond. I run in admin mode so that's not the problem here on my PC's.
I'm using an EMU 404 USB card with it's asio drivers.
When I switch to the primary sound driver (Directsound)everything works fine(sound + buttons)!
The next thing I tried is installing the asio drivers from my Roland V-Synth XT.
Choosing these drivers and everything works fine too!
Switching back to EMU Asio drivers and again 'no sound & buttons'. This is strange as I do not have any problems with other plugins.
Is there a solution for this?
Thanks for your time.

This sounds very weird - a plugin itself in fact does not deal with the audio driver by itself, this is always the surrounding host; so it must have to do with the host somehow...
maybe something with samplerates or similar?

Is there an offline authorization process? I forget how OP-X Pro did it, and my Receptor is not online... I read in that tutorial that you use the same authorization method when installing on Receptor so I'd like to be prepared if I do end up going for this.

I'll check at the Flstudio forum and I will ask them if I can send a "log" file.
It looks like OPX II crashes with the flstudio vsti wrapper in combination with a EMU 404 USB. I will see what happens with asio4all too.

I have the same issue with the bank load button. Rather strange but yeah, not a biggie.boygreen wrote:For me, everything works except the Load Bank button. it's strange, the load bank button works fine in Live 7; they seem to have changed something here in 8; it works too in every other host we've checked so far (cubase, live 7, savihost, vfx, receptor, etc. - so it's strange that it doesn't in live 8) - we'll have a look into it...
of course you still can load banks using the file menu of live, since the banks are still based on the fxb format for full compatibility; the banks are all in the "OP-X PRO-II" folder next to the dll

Hi - you don't need to be connected to the internet to license; for an installation guide on Receptor, check this site:buscemi wrote:Is there an offline authorization process? Btw, we've set up a dedicated faq site (accessible from the support area and the contact site) which we update on every dedicated report/request:

Will there be a proper version for MAC AU?

OP-X Pro II is Windows only as it is created using SynthEdit (with Sonicprojects own modules) but you could use it on Mac using the VFX software:Hellfog wrote:Will there be a proper version for MAC AU?
