100% no, as i am not a huge DF fan, but neither a talkbox nor Autotune are vocoders, so that was the point (without wanting to be a nitpicker ;) : several songs are called "vocoder", but not all of them are really made using a vocoder, be it a talkbox or autotune or something else...

I thought all French people must love Daft Punk... :hihi:

Jokes aside, that's the same with songs containing pitch-shifted vocals - they're all called "Autotune" songs...

Personally I don't like the typical (extrem) robotic voice made with real vocoders. This is why I'm asking what songs are really made with a vocoder and if I can make vocal lines like Daft Punk with it (that have still some natural flavor).

Are you 100 % sure? For example, the producer of Cher "Believe" claimed to have used a Talkbox, but a few years later he confessed that he had used Autotune.
Actually, the producer of "Believe" claimed to have used a Digitech Talker, which was a vocoder in a stompbox.

I'm 99% sure that Daft Punk song is a talkbox.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Can someone explain how to use this to make it sound like a robot?

Use a simple mono synth with something rich, say some bass line (but higher pitched), based on sawtooth ideally (you can experiment), and put MVocoder onto that track and then feed your voice into the sidechain. And find some reasonable preset, one of the first ones I suppose.

The demos are in english but by a czech singer. You see, this is why a hate creating complicated descriptions and audio demos, there's always someone, who complains instead of checkin the plugin out :( . Unlike most other companies, here it takes 5 minutes to check it out and for 10 EUR it is a no-brainer imho. Then you'll either like it or not.
