Drum Machine +Internal Sequencer+Midi Assignable

Heyy hey KVR krew,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a VST Drum Machine that has an internal sequencer AND has the ability to assign the sequencer to a midi controller. Basically I would like to build a custom midi controller which I can use as an independant drum machine which I can save and recall presets on without having to touch the computer.
D16's drum machine vst's have a nice internal sequencer, but they are not going to make the controls midi assignable until the second versions, which could be a while until they realease them.
thanks everyone!

Sonicbytes Era and Est you can midi control every step.
old software though and unlikely to be updated but they include some nice live features

No no, I actually meant like a step sequencer that is assignable itself. As in on my midi controller i could punch in which drum and then lay down the pattern, and then save the pattern. All without touching my computer.

FXpansion BFD2 from what I read (I get it tomorrow!) allows you to assign different drum patterns to different keys, so from a keyboard you can switch through patterns. I am not sure exactly what you need but that's something pretty cool to me. I was wondering if there were any classic drum machine expansions for it as I'd love to keep everything in one environment if I could, learn that one app well.
Geist being from the same developer may do something similar.

Era is a midi step sequencer
Est is a sample playing step sequencer similar in design to Est
while Tremor is great the provided sounds are terrible.
I've never stepped through the presets on a plugin so fast looking for something usable.
I do own it

Hey guys. This is totally not what I posted about. It's totally fine, I'm not trying to be ungrateful, but these responses are unrelated. I was looking for something that had an internal step-sequencer which was actually could be assigned to a custom midi controller so that I could program and save drum patterns without having to touch my computer. As if I was using a 909 or 808 machine.
If you don't know what I'm talking about then please don't make a reply.

i'm also still looking for something like that... here i have two recommendations:
have a look at xoxos steps (but its a drum sampler-originally an emu of the classic standalone drummachine "hammerhead"): in fl studio, i can assign all the step buttons of xoxos steps to a button of my launchpad... but be sure that you have to assign all the step buttons to a seperate hardware button... so, for xoxos steps this means you need 96 (6 channel à 16 steps)... automap would help, but unfortunately it does not "see" the step buttons, but thats another story i guess
another recommendation would be "easydrums", but again you need lots of buttons...
both freeware, so just try them out... hope this helps!

if you cant figire it out thats your problem lol.
its a plugin that allows you to program beats, or any mucical phrase using your midi device to interact with every step.
Eg to control the pitches of each step just assign CC1 1. Subsequent cc's (ie 2,3,4 etc) will be automatcally mapped to the subsequebnt steps.
Im controlling every step with a Regelwerk.
Exactly what youve asked for.
The beauty is you can use it with any synth/drum machine

Angular Momentum VirtuaDrum XL is maybe worth a look?
There is also a freeware versionAM website wrote:It features a CV sequencer and mixer, and a filter envelope trigger sequencer to modulate the channel filters to give variation to your sounds. Note mapping, Pitch, Pan, Decay, velocity sensetivity, and multimode filters on every channel. It comes with 1400 high quality drum samples. It will set you back only 35 bucks
