Cool but I'd much prefer a simple save as for individual patches instead of having to save the whole bank each time. I have now also lost patches because I saved to a preset position in the bank but forgot to also save the whole bank each time. There are too many steps required to save a simple patch.

PERMUT8 IS GREAT.
Why is it not in the database yet? I want to post a glowing review.

Eff me this thing is awesome.
It's like the Valhalla Ubermod of glitchy multi-effects.
Chorus? Nice subtle stereo delay? Slightly off-tempo weird-ass delay? Janky pitch shifter? Saturator? Fuzz? Filter? Repeater? Bitcrusher? Binary operator driven buffer-f**ker? Pattern-sequenced mangler? Horribly painful wailing feedback machine? Some combination of the above? YES.
And with the signature playfully weird interface that Sonic Charge is becoming known for.

I like the fact that this thing can also do some very basic, yet very good sounding effects.

This is kind of fun too
The firmware has games, and a code disassembler. Im thinking that it might be possible to find hidden functions in it, but im still not sure yet. Its essentially a small computer.. within your daw.
I think its quite a neat thing to add.

Mate it is rare that I have seen you excited. I mean that in the best possible manner. It must be sick, Going to have to try it (helps at last that I recently got a machine with abit of power to really properly demo newer software as on my old thing I was lucky to get more than an instance of many things going! Not to imply that this is would be a CPU destroyer though at all)whyterabbyt wrote:holy f**k. i just sussed the extra firmware.

There is also a compiler and some documented source code in a folder in the Permut8 install directory. You'll almost certainly need some programming experience to get any mileage out of it, though.
