I think I actually read about the magnesium thing here on KVR some years ago, the findings were based on US army medical research. As we can imagine, people suffer from hearing loss in the army and they don't want to pay unecessary disablement-pay if the hearingloss is really just a question of eating a bit more magnesium.. makes sense.

But it worked for me! Worth a try!

Sorry for the off topic, folks.. but hearing is important stuff and this could potentially help any of you.

now.. back to reaktor!

Thank you. It's alot of fun plumbing through all imaginative and creativee things people have shared through the years, after taking some sensible precautions if you're our age. The ones that Native Instruments sells are less risky.

And of course, there are the ones from Twisted Tools. Thanks for thinking of me at the top of this thread, but I'm not competing with Native Instruments again. I saw what was written about Spark, how much the creator worked on it, and as it was created inside Native Instruments, it contains design features which the company knows is best not only for now, but in the future. No one can beat that inside REaktor. And Razor was top of discussion when I left the Reaktor forums. So I'd suggest looking there for more info. There were some others named after body parts, for some reason.

Enjoy )

Razor was created by someone who doesnt work for NI (errorsmith). So were the 'body parts' The Mouth and the Finger (Tim Exile).

The last Reaktor update actually broke Razor slightly so I doubt the developer had the inside info.

You should- I've done a bunch of them over the years. This is one of my favorites...

+1. Love the minimalism. When I start with ideas like that I tend to pile on. Kudos for holding back.

I picked up 5 of them, and they are terrific! Highly recommended. I donated 20 € FWIW.

errorsmith's relationship with NI's somewhat ambiguous; he's Erik Wiegand, who's done a lot of factory stuff for Reaktor over the years.

Try the Reaktor update that was released today; if I remember, it's fixed.

A spectral heretic...

Oh. ew: some of your redesign in R5 was really good.

Hey yofiel,
I think ur a pretty idiosyncratic dude,
but hang in on KVR if you'd like to
I wonder what I want in here
-my site is gone and music a mess

Post

Thank you for the encouragement, but that won't please ew. This topic is for his company :)

IMO modular environments are a pain below to interface.
I would be using MAX/msp,
but Live was a better business decision.
