thank you very much, Matt: i'm quite happy, you like it! Acnalbasac Noom is the most 'Gainsbourgish' or 'french' sounding Kraut album, imo. 'Karen' is my favourite song, though i like the Krause kraut a lot too.

It might have been, but I needed (well, wanted anyway) to eliminate a possible cause for the links not being clickable, so I asked him to just post any five posts in the gossip thread. Even after I'd edited the link so that it was an mp3 link it wasn't showing up correctly (it did in preview but not after I hit "Submit") and it was bugging me.

At the shore myself this weekend. Listened to the submissions on headphones with my feet in the sand today and it was the perfect soundtrack.

Psyched to throw mine into the mix.

@robojam: you said you were busting out the microphone for this one and then you bow out... cruel!

Edit: oh, and JJBiener, did you take my advice and jump in the ocean, or did you take bzur's advice and avoid skin cancer, or did you take farlukar's advice and dose yourself? Or did you take Doc Jon's advice and swap wives (or houses, I can't remember, but it was a great idea!)
