Neon.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

I would tend to take MUX, because it has a good synth and drum sampler, good effects and sounds great...

i would shoot the person who said i could only have one. no one tells me how many i can have. :P

Reaktor for me too

which is sort of cheating, considering its more of a programming language than an actual synth.

:P
actually i think it's cheating because it's hundreds of synths, fx, drum units :)

software is a tool that allows us to complete a given task.
social media is full of tools that distract us from a given task.

MUX definitely, maybe not as pretty as many but you could make so many variations. Would it be cheating to slip another VST into the MUX?

If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Another vote for Reaktor. Despite having a bunch of synths like Omnisphere, Alchemy, and the synths from Komplete I still seem to spend most of my time building stuff in Reaktor.

Nexus... (or if i can cheat and have two - Sylenth as well)

Omnisphere.

Vaz Modular, does most things VA, PM/FM, wavetable (PPG style and slightly beyond), granular, some slightly peculiar sort of Phase Distortion (I think the initiated would say it has a West Coast-style twist or something like that), modulated timesynced delays, a few other effects inc. frequency shifting in a modular makes for lots of fun with modulation and routing, great range of various filters w reasonable CPU hit etc etc plus combining and modulating all these things with each other in various ways (and surprisingly userfriendly for such flexibility) - in short old dreams have come true through exploring this!

(unnecessary and possibly obvious disclaimer: I'm more of a tweaker than anything remotely resembling a musician)

Synth: Zebra
Sampler: Kontakt

I can't decide between Reaktor, VAZ Modular or Zebra (don't zebra it but i am very familiar with what it can do and sometimes i am questioning myself do i really need anything other after i purchase zebra..i gueds it's the same thing which is stopping me in ordering..nice problem there..)

Post

Synthmaster it covers most things,or Alchemy would be just fine too.

It's a good thing we don't really have to make such horrible decisions, isn't it?

Kind of feel the same way about it, actually (except you're probably slightly more familiar with that beasts possibilities).. I'd risk neglecting my other babies for a while, but I'm sure I'd put them to use again after a while. And there's the fact that I simply can't afford it right now, paying off my short (four days or so) vacation (dang, that was four expensive days!) to the guy I went with - and then there's the details such as having to eat and such...
