Im really trying hard to do mux's that other people can use ... but first of all i use a lot of payware effects and synths in them and second ....... it's so personalized for my needs that i doubt it would be of much use for others. Mux solves a lot of MY issues

Luckily it is easy to use, so even a numbskull like me can get good use out of itCrackbaby wrote:Im really trying hard to do mux's that other people can use ... but first of all i use a lot of payware effects and synths in them and second ....... it's so personalized for my needs that i doubt it would be of much use for others. Me too hibididy! Imagine someone stuttering your name who also suffers from Tourette's syndrome?
I can't imagine making music without mux now. It's just not possible. I love the visual representation so i can see exactly what's going on!
Has anyone made mini-ADSR-muxes? I've planned to do them -sometime- but hasn't been done yet here. A mux with the big ADSR module is set right with ranges and reduces down to four controls.

I noticed that the same issue with Valhalla plugin's dropdowns also occures in Tal's new U-NO-LX.

I hope he's able to get that. Something about juce that might be part of the issue. If it can't be done on the mu end, it's gonna be a long hard wait for some it to get fixed.

Sometimes, i think it is in some vst's, the "drag last tweaked parameter" shortcut doesn't work...! If you click the menu button and click the command it works, but not as a shortcut (i've set general version to "1" but i have also tried the vst plugin window version).
The plugin it's not working in right now: Tal's U-NO-LX. If i load Blade by rob papen it works (in the same mux). It's weird because if i go by the menu button it works ... just not the shortcut!
And it's working for another vst in the same mux. How weird! I know there's more vsti's where this has happened, i just thought it had to do with maybe something else (i usually only 'mux' one vst/vsti per project so i thought it could have been the project somehow).

Another thing i wanted to ask: I deleted an obsolete mux via explorer but it's still in the mux preset list. I can't load it there and i need to load it in order to delete it from Mux.

Delete the file: "MuxPatchFileCache.MuData" which is in the same folder of the deleted file or one level higher...Crackbaby wrote:Another thing i wanted to ask: I deleted an obsolete mux via explorer but it's still in the mux preset list. MUX will rebuild this file and your deleted one is gone...
This only happens, when you delete or add something by the Explorer...
If you do this within the MUX, the data file is updated automatically...

Ah cool! I plan to organize my neverending list of muxes. In dire need of organisation
So, this mornings solving issue: U-NO-LX has a off/on for saw at 50%. There's also a VCA switch gate/env at 50%. I want to have both these controls in one knob. So if the saw off/on is at 50%, then i need the gate/env at 25% and env/gate at 75%. I've solved this before but here we go again
Like the charming chap i am, i called work said i would be late.
And no, just adding a 25-100 and a reversed 0-75 didn't work, i guess the parameter values cancel each other out. The last one i edited would become the "master".

Indeed, that's a cache file in order to speed up things. If MUX would have to check each time whether that cache file is still up to date, then the goal (speed!) would be missed. When adding/updating/deleting presets from within MUX that cache file is updated automatically of course.Trancit wrote:Delete the file: "MuxPatchFileCache.MuData" which is in the same folder of the deleted file

Using shortcut keys is always dependent from where the keyboard focus is. Within the MU system that's indicated by the green rectangle around the focused component. But it's unclear whether the keyboard focus is on a VST editor or not, and if it is, whether the VST editor will process the key event or not.Crackbaby wrote:Sometimes, i think it is in some vst's, the "drag last tweaked parameter" shortcut doesn't work...! I'm not sure what you exactly want to do. Isn't it as simple as just dragging both parameters to a meta-parameter? If not, why not?Crackbaby wrote:Ah cool! I plan to organize my neverending list of muxes. In dire need of organisation

You're right! The second one explorer-deleted was deleted in the preset menu when i deleted another mux within mux!
Any plans for inventing a module that let's you modulate from -100 to 100 back down to -100? It would really help these buttonissues i run into all the time. Seems my brain isn't 100% this morning because i can't seem to solve this issue ....... I did it in oxium! and Mausynth!
