Audio routing with Tascam IU2

Hi!

I came to the conclusion I have no other choice (well at least legal ) but to shell out on the only audio+midi solution for iPhone atm = Tascam IU2...

Does anybody here know if this would allow me to route the 2 input channels available to separate apps?

So that I could send my guitar to "Loopy" and my vocal input to "IK Vocalive" separately?

I don't think it is possible. At least not yet. Maybe when iOS 6 comes out inter-app audio might allow you to route the L/R inputs to different apps. That would be cool.

You could in theory do this.
I have the IU2 and for iphone it works great. (not so good for ipad)
As long as your apps support background audio and can select left or right as an input and dont use the 'one app at a time' microphone API for audio input ....... acutally now that I think about it your list of compatable apps is going to be pretty short!!
What apps were you thinking of using? If I have them i'll give it a shot.
