It's all up to apple. Although, I don't believe it's been actually submitted just yet.

Audiobus relies on other apps implementing support for it, so before it is submitted to Apple their is a developer beta. This is in its first phase now. In the second phase more developers will be brought in.

Since Audiobus needs to be easy for developers to work with, they want to make sure they tweak and finalize the SDK/documentation before opening it up to everyone. I like this approach, because you can be sure there will be plenty of apps supporting it at launch!
