So I've recently aquired a Moog source to go alongside my Motu Ultralite.

I've managed to use the DC to change the pitch, while it's been a bit worky, i've at least been able to change the constant pitch sound by adjusting it..

its the gate/trigger I'm having issues with.

If you look on the back of my Source, I have s-trig and trigger. Ive tried to invert the voltage and all sorts of stuff but I jjust can't get the cv and gate to work harmoniously.

I also bought 2x TRS - (2)TS cables to send to the ring and tip... I've tried every configuration and it still seems wonk as hell... haven't even had a half calibration.

why do i have two triggers? which should i use? do i have to go from s-trig to v-trig? if anyone has successfully paired these two, please help. :)

cheers

Right now when the trigger is plugged in it just plays a note, when i press a midi note, the note stops... when I put the gate at 1.00 it stops but no longer plays a note or triggers anything

Just like to say I figured it out....

CV- RING
S-TRIG - TIP

Output Matrix:
1: Offset -1, Pitch 1, Gate 1
2: Offset 1. Pitch 0, Gate -1

I think these settings change it from S-trig to V-trig or something

All i know is its working finally!

purchase time!

hopefully if anyone else runs into similar issues they will google and find this :)

Glad you got it working.

You can also use the "Gate Open"/"Gate Clsd" settings to invert the gate without using the output matrix.

I'm trying to use the Source with a Doepfer Dark Link MIDI to CV converter. I'm having problems with the KB-CV in on my Moog. Both the Dark Link and Moog are supposedly working on a 1V/Oct scale but the pitches are all wrong. Anyone have any ideas?
