As for backups... um... that is something you should ALWAYS do as a matter of course, well, at least imo.

Regarding upgrade fees... $39 is great and I will happily pay it to support Linplug especially as it's been a number of years that I've been happily using X3. I would rather pay a relatively small fee to a small company than some of these crazy update/upgrade fees from some of these corporations. I mean... are you aware of how much it costs to upgrade your Adobe software (as an example!)? Obviously free is even better (!)... but these guys (e.g. Linplug) need to eat/live too, eh?

I guess I am a little put off cause I am a recent Cronox 3 adopter... it's not cheap.
Cheers to the cool new features though.

Yes that makes complete sense to me. That is always painful... when you get something fairly recently but perhaps not recently enough to fall into the grace period. But... we don't yet know what the grace period is or was that mentioned already?
I know for sure it won't apply to me and as I said I've been using X3 ever since it was released so in my case I can live with it.

I like the design. Maybe a bit more blue. But then again I got a major thing for blue.
Apart from Alchemy which is top of my list, I will prolly buy this first.
I love the design. Can we have a bit more blue though please. If not, make it skinnable and I will do a blue one.
This spec looks amazing. I am really looking forward to this. Nothing else in the VST world is floating my boat like this.
Come on Peter.
You know we want it!

GUI resizing will come later on, very few people actually use double resolution monitors and there are some technical glitches so it not made it into the release.
The grace period was from 1.March on, so almost half a year, I guess that covers all "recent" buyers, hopefully you feel the same

$39 was my threshold. I went ahead and paid it. If it was anymore I would of not been able to do it.
Downloading it now!

This is excellent news.
£94 are you mad?
I suppose you must have had a bit of old code hanging around...
It won't be this week, it won't be the next week, but the week after that I am getting my grubby paws on it.
I do hope you make it skinnable? A bit of blue goes a long way.
Still, what a VST!
Congratulations, a whole load of work must have gone into this. Danke!
cheers.

Downloaded the demo. Don't seem to be too many new sounds there - most I recognize from the old version. But they do sound very good - a definite richness to the sound.

I am demoing and have a question. I am trying to use a long, evolving waveform I created in a generator in loop mode. I am trying to mod the sample start using the mod wheel. I set it up in the mod matrix but nothing seems to happen. Suggestions?

Well, once the sample IS started you wont change anything when moving the Mod-Wheel (when its routed to sample start). Or said the other way around: When Mod-Wheel is routed to sample start, each time you start a new note the sample with play from the position according to the Mod-Wheel. I may help further if you can explain what you try to achieve.esl wrote:I am demoing and have a question. I am trying to use a long, evolving waveform I created in a generator in loop mode. Hello Peter, two questions:
Having CrX released, is the CronoX 3 already forbidden for resale?
Also, does CrX read CronoX 3 presets?
Thanks,
Kalin
