all that doesn't work in my case. thank you anyway.braj wrote:There is no latch mode in Catanya.
The plugin I mentioned needs to be in front of Catanya in the signal chain. I don't know how Sonar routes things, but in Studio One for example it would go on a track, and Catanya would be on another, and you set the Catanya track to use that as its midi input. Then you arm both tracks. Similarly I imagine to how you are having Catanya drive your vst. Anyhow it still may not be what you need but this is along the lines of what you should need at least.

Igor, your plugs are astounding.... I just recently moved to mac and I see earlier this year you mentioned new versions were in the works for mac support, is that still going to happen? Just wanted to bump the mention to that... Also, here's a link to something your creation helped create

Hm... I had a pre-sale Question and did not get any answer. Then I read here that it may took long to get the licence after payment, so my interest went away.

You get the license right away from Share-it as I recall, it is automated. What was your question, maybe users can help?

I won't use share it to buy anything. He also has the paypal option but I think that must be done manual. And I just don't feel comfortable to buy from someone who does not respond to user or future user question. Maybe I have a preoblem in the future and then I want a developer to respond...
My question was If there is a manual I could read before buying, as I don't understand the pattern matrix completely.

Well I hear you, I wouldn't really consider it supported at this point, though it is still on sale and stable from all of my experience.
So the pattern matrix: It represents three octaves of a three fingered chord. It only accepts 3 fingers, so more complex chords it won't do. When a chord is held, it plays the fingering as an arpeggio based on the pattern, playing the three fingers starting from the bottom low, med, high.
So in the image below, in the first section 1:1, it is playing the low octave, and only the low note. 1:2 is playing all three notes of the chord in the middle octave, as two 1/8 note chords. In 1:3 it is playing the higest note of the chord in all three octaves. in 1:4 it is playing first the high note in all octaves, then the middle in each.

Below the grid is velocity sliders, which can also be adjusted with the Spread and Level sliders. Loop Start and End let you define the range up to 32 steps, in 16th notes.
Anyhow i think it is a great arp for what it does, I am in 64 bit now but using it bridged with no issues. Hopefully it gets further support in the future, but as-is it is a pretty useful tool. A tad expensive given the lack of development though.
You can get a very similar free arp from http://loopmasons.com/store/ you need to create an account to download it. It has some features Catanya lacks but isn't as stable from my experience.

How did you manage to bridge it! I gave up months ago trying without success in cubase 6.5 and using j bridge so im optimistic that it is possible now! Is there a tip you know to enable this on a pc thanks if you do..braj wrote:Well I hear you, I wouldn't really consider it supported at this point, though it is still on sale and stable from all of my experience.

I dunno, it just works in jBridge and Reaper, default settings, no fuss.

BTW JBridge in Studio One, and Reaper's default bridge, to be clear. Maybe it is a Cubase issue.

Setting up a new PC the last few days. Found my Catanya email with license and installed on Win 7 64x. Went to the 7Aliens website for the old update and the site is parked. Emailed a reply to the serial and the email bounced back. Looks like its dead and gone but still for sale thru softpedia. Not a good buy for use in Cubase as you need the update.I also can;t jbridge the original version.

What a dissapointment to see it's gone. I was waiting for it to be updated to x64. I hope we get to see something similar from other developers too. I don't mean the product only but but also the amount of presets it has.
