Does anyone know how to replace a current submission in the OSC with an updated version? Thank you

You need a Soundcloud premium account to replace the track on SoundCloud, or you can just delete it and add the new entry. You'd probably also have to post another info message with the current details.loris16148 wrote:Does anyone know how to replace a current submission in the OSC with an updated version? Thank you

Yo yo. This is Loris
New submission. Thought I'd take it to the days of Clint Eastwood, and Ennio Morricone with this one. I rushed to finish it even though there's still time left. Still needs a lot of mastering but I couldn't help myself. Not like its gonna get much better anyway. ENJOY!
Song - Parked my horse by the cactus
DAW - FL Studio
Synth - 16 instances of DUNE BE, none sampled
FX - 1 Fruity Limiter(FL Studio),
1 Modern Amplifier(Free),
4 Tal Reverb III(Free)
Im having difficulties posting the link for some reason. Here is my best shot at it below:
http://soundcloud.com/loris-solic/loris ... d-my-horse.
make sure to copy and paste the word 'horse' not just the word 'ho'. Although the way this came out is making me consider changing my song title to 'Parked my HO by the cactus.'

When i use it I remove the step sequencer and the piano roll out of the immediate view by clicking on the background somewhere. Before I do that I select which instance of dune I want to hear when I play a midi key on my keyboard. This way the keys don't get stuck, but you can't see the DUNE Vst and your step sequencer. But a small sacrifice if you're trying to be creative without interruptions. Give it a try and let me know what you think and if you understand what Im trying to sayIrionDaRonin wrote:I did that long time ago, when using the DVD version of Dune BE. And still the same. But don't worry, it is not a big issue.N.E.X. wrote:Click Wrapping Settings button to the left of "Fruity Wrapper(Dune)" and click "don't allow keyboard focus" to enable. Hi all,
Here comes my contribution for a new soundtrack for the next DUNE-movie
Working with DUNE was a complete fun. I love the posibilities of this synth. I played a lot to get a good snare and crash sound. And I could do this with the FM, Ringmod and some Waves out of the table. It was more a try and error, but it worked.
Inspired by Irion, I also wrote some words to this imaginary movie:
Waiting for sandworm
Heat, nothing but heat.
The only thing one can hear
is the sound of the thumper,
calling the worm.
Wait, wait for hours.
Strain is growing.
Suddenly, the sand explodes!
The worm is rising.
Let's go, get ready for a ride!
23 instances of DUNE-BE in Cubase 5 Essential
Filter: Electri-Q, BootEQmkII
Dynamics: TDRFeedBackCompressor, Loudmax
Delays: IxoxDelay
Stereo: Autopano, StereoEnhancer, DensitymkIII (for M/S-tuning)
Reverb: SIR1, EpicVerb, ModernSpacer, FreeverbToo
AmpSim: Voxengo-Boogex
Analyzer: Span
Dynamik Range according TT Dynamic Range Meter: DR=11
Cheers,
Photonic

Excellent track! Sounds like by the end of this competition we will have enough material for the entirety of the next Dune movie soundtrackphotonic wrote:Here comes my contribution for a new soundtrack for the next DUNE-movie

In my opinion this competition has produced the most original synth sounds so far, got to hand it to Dune.

Here's my entry for the OSC 43 Dune BE Competition done in energyXT 2.6. (I find the program limiting and not supported, so will be using FL in the future- have been working with some ideas with it over the last several days but I'm not familiar with FL enough yet to get any tracks made in time- but WATCH OUT in the coming competitions!)
9 instances of Dune BE
0 samples
7 HP filters (including one on Master Track)
3 LP filters
I can't tell you how pleased and lucky I feel to have stumbled on this competition and the great folks participating in it. I hope to become a contributing member of this "community" and look forward with anticipation to each and every entry and the knowledgeable comments added to them!
