The sequencers/arps can sequence seemingly any parameter. You cannot modulate the arp though to my knowledge.
Does the arp have a tie for glides? Albino had such a great arp. Nice and simple but very flexible. Each step had a velocity and if you pushed it all the way to the top it became tie. Linplug have since had less useful arps in their recent synths. Never understood that.

So how does this sound? Is it good for sound design or more for music projects?

Sounds cool, but brings nothing new to the table. I could do these sounds with Absynth and Reaktor. Cool demos though.

Sounds great. Very warm and organic. Should work for both . Very low cpu hit, as well, which is nice.

Not that great.
Not much good for sound designs - it's all been done before.
Music projects - if you made music with this, I, Personally would not buy it.

Apart from that it's great mate.

Fancy knocking up a quick sound library?

I'm sure you will appreciate the questions you gave are very subjective.

And they removed features from Cronox 3's arp...

I think it's the best thing since sliced bread.

That quite a bold phrase. And a funny one actually. I can image some really jaw dropping music (in a positive sense) being made with CRX4 only.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

A couple of those demo songs sound really good.

The arp does have a tie for glides. Works the same way as you said there. Not really at all familiar with Albino's arp so I can't compare really.

Awesome Demos. Very D50 in places.

Update Price is more than fair.

VSTi looks great. I hated the look of the previous version.

The new version of the Website is super. Very functional and very 'now'.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

nice gui, its a good synth with sample cap.

some bad things (for me) i stumbled across:
- no loop point automation possible (but internal modulation is possible)
- no realtime modulation of timestretch via automation (but internal modulation is possible)
- the loop function in timesampler mode has no funtion to set loop- point
- relative small modulation matrix (as you cant modulate realtime from an external source)
