I'd especially like a emulation of a Moog 960 sequencer that syncs with the host.

i would like to see a small plugin once inserted on a track will predelay everything by an ammount of (exactly enterable) ms.

this is nice for preshifted claps for example. if you buy sample packs the samples usually tell you how much they should be pre-shifted, but both my daws have no way to do so exactly in miliseconds. i was told cubase could do this...
Finally!

I would very much like a deep and easy polyrhytmic step sequencer, which i could control using a Nanokontrol.
Something in between the mighty StepMachine, Kirnu and Fpansion Termor's drumseq.

I'd be surprised if Cubase couldn't do this (not a user so don't know for sure). Track properties/inspector?

If not, maybe this: http://www.voxengo.com/product/sounddelay/

exactly that...
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

super cool but can it also pre-shift (meaning the exact opposite of a delay)?

I think a Synth with Zebra/Dune/MauSynth quality that works and can manipulate the Envelopes/LFO on a Mid/Side level would be awesome.

Just saying... ;)

A sampler picking randomly samples in a given folder and playing them synced with a rhythmic MIDIin flow.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Voxengo also offer: http://www.voxengo.com/product/latencydelay/

Basically it adds 10000 samples of delay then delays your audio by 10000 less the 'pre delay' you want. Obviously your host needs PDC for this to work (so it delays everything else by 10000 samples keeping everything in sync).

Oooh, this is an innovative idea - and it can give some unexpected results. :o

Copperlan ASIO

an idea I currently think about implementing myself, in order to dig a little deeper into c++/real time programming.

A "Copperlan ASIO" audio driver which when used by applications create a "Copperlan ASIO" device wrapping a real ASIO audio driver within the copperlan network on one machine and extends it with virtual audio I/Os for audio streaming between all apps which use the Copperlan ASIO audio driver. For a start.

With the next step of being able to host multiple real ASIO drivers within the Copperlan network across multiple machines, converting/resampling/resyncing audio streams, transporting audio over the whole copperlan network, including virtual audio channels.

Another idea i got.

A kind of wrapper (vst format) where you can load more VST into it.
This wrapper let's you use CPU only for the VST, and GPU for graphic stuff.
Letting you the most possible CPU for sound, and GPU for graphics and Guis.

It is this even possible?

Have a nice day :)

An experiment of a growing multieffect, like Synplant, but instead of producing sounds, it would develop randomly a mix of echoes, delays, reverbs, distos, flangers, compressors and so on.

Other more.

A real time recorder syncable to host. You press play in your host, and the recorder starts to record.
Yeah, we can do this manually, but sometimes, there are errors when you are playing a pattern (for some reason) and they just sound cool, but you can't come back to listen again or save to wav format file and use as a sample.

Something like old LSR or it was called somewhat like that, but it is not longer available.

Have a good day :)
