You are allowed multiple entries. After changes to mine, I just added "02" to the end of the title. I never even bothered to submit the first one here on the forum...

make sure to copy and paste the word 'horse' not just the word 'ho'. Although the way this came out is making me consider changing my song title to 'Parked my HO by the cactus.'[/quote]

LOL!

How many instances of Dune Be could be expected to run in FL before there are problems on this kind of set-up?

win 7 Pro
8 Gb ram
AMD x4 3.4GHz
MB soundcard (built in)-can't find working win7 pro drivers for the ol' X-Fi

Any hint as to next month's synth?

It's usually a well kept secret :) Welcome to OSC :tu:

And one more track from me. Don't usually submit multiple entries but this synth was way too fun. It has definitely found a home in my arsenal.

30 instances of Dune BE.

Ableton Live, native effects (EQ8, Compressor, Dynamic Tube, Pingpong Delay, Autofilter, Auto Pan Cabinet, Amp, Saturation)
DCAM Free Compressor
ColourEQ
Limiter6
Molot

Just time to get one in this month

The Chase

http://soundcloud.com/docjon/doc-jon-the-chase

21 instances of Dune BE

Host - Cubase 6.5

Uses host EQ, compression, reverb, delay, autopan, stereo enhancer on the individual tracks
Small amount of host tube effect on the snare and bassline
Host multiband compression, maximiser and protection limiter on the master bus
Voxengo Span on the end of the processing chain as always
Lots of automation throughout, more of the track was played on the modwheel than the keys!

Mainly tweaked presets used (including an altered version of one of Jasinski's Crash patches, thanks mate). The bassline riff is a slightly altered version of one of the arps stolen from one of the bass patches in the full version of Dune so please deduct points if this offends!

Am I missing something or is the 'group' still only showing last months MiniV tracks?

About instances with your setup, it depends on the patches, but at least 30 I would say.

Always welcome, but you've forgotten to add your name to the track, might cost you during voting.

Also some volume automation.

I'm loving the entries I'm hearing so far guys! Keep it up, great job all of you!

I could not find time or inspiration this month, and I think that I won't find them in the next two days :)

I really like being in the #42 challenge, and hope that I will be in the #44. Good lucky to everyone.

Here comes my contribution for a new soundtrack for the next DUNE-movie :D
Working with DUNE was a complete fun. I love the posibilities of this synth. I played a lot to get a good snare and crash sound. And I could do this with the FM, Ringmod and some Waves out of the table. It was more a try and error, but it worked,

I found Dune pretty amazing for percusive sounds. Glad you found it that way as well!
