Is there any synth out there that has the sound quality of U-He Diva?

Real analog synthesizers? :hihi:

I think the DCAM synth squad stuff can sound as good when oversampled!

Also the Tyrell N6 can sound very DIVA like and its free

Oxium does that too, it has a high quality filter. I don't know if it is as deep sounding as DIVA, but I has a very good quality high-end.

I don't have any other Xils-Lab synths though so I don't know about the others.

Another synth I've used that is quite good is Corona. Very different character, but the filter and resonance sound very authentic.

Largo has a really nice filter section, but it is a very different sound from DIVA.
Oxium also only uses serial protection--just like Diva. Both Diva and Oxium are on my "To Buy" list. I hadn't looked too much at Corona though. What copy protection does Corona use? I have to keep my eyes open at all times to find great sounding synths that meet my copy protection requirements. :P

Corona has the best copy protection: trust! And there's a copy for cheap in the market right now: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=358632

hey thanks for all the responses. I apologize for not being a bit more specific. I think Diva is the best sounding synth I've heard so far, and I want another synth on the same sound quality level but with more modulation options, more VCO options etc. I will check out oxium, dcam and corona as I've seen those mentioned multiple times. Please keep the suggestions coming!!!

Some of my personal favorites:
- Xils Lab Oxium
- TAL U-NO-LX
- Tone2 Saurus
- Tone2 ElectraX
- Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V
- Waldorf Largo
- KV331 Audio Synthmaster 2.5

All of those got an excellent sound quality IMO.

So Corona doesn't use any copy protection then? Nice!

"sound quality" really doesn't mean anything unless you define what it means. It's all subjective. Might as well ask "what's your favorite synth that you think sounds good?"

All you can do is try stuff and see what you like.
