Yep just the user password to download the most current versions. And since Corona is updated regularly that is important

Anyhow I really appreciate the no-hassle method, and though I don't consider it Diva-level as far as an analog emulation goes, as a synth in its own right it is extremely flexible, with so many waveforms and you can always add your own. And it just keeps improving.

Yep, just download it from your account, run installer and you do not even have to input a serial nr. during or after installation

That is for all DiscoDSP products by the way afaik.

Corona also has a really nice demo, no voiceovers, no timeouts, no noise, just no saving patches. If you want to try it in a mix and see how it fits in your music it is easy and you could also bounce the track so you can actually not just waste time with a demo but get something useful for your time. DiscoDSP is very generous in this regard and it really helped me test it thoroughly before I bought it, especially after trying another synth with an extremely annoying demo, it was a huge breath of fresh air.

I would say it compliments Diva though, not in any way replaces Diva. If you are looking for low-CPU and great soundquality on a budget, I'd suggest TAL U-NO and the Corona that is on sale in the markey. That would be like $100?

With Corona, you need to use the Alt filters to get the newer, better quality filters. CPU usage jumps up but, as with Diva, for high resonance sounds, they tend to be better.

But you want more VCO options - that's analog isn't it?

What is it about Diva that you like? For me, the biggest thing that stands out among great VAs is the attack. Zebra has a great attack. The other thing is the quality of the sound (no audible aliasing or zippering) when you modulate the waveforms, filters, osc sync, etc., and that's a larger list. When you compare Omnisphere's sync sweep for example to any U-He synth, Omnisphere sounds more digital and artifacted. Massive sounds smoother than Omnisphere in this regard also.
