My iPad used to be named "TabSels iPad".
With rtpMidi in Windows, I saw "TabSels iPad" in rtpMidis directory of available devices/ports.

Now I renamed my iPad to "iPad3". But no matter what I do, rtpmidi still shows "TabSels iPad"...

How do I rename the core midi device port name in ios? (non-jailbreak)

Any ideas?

Too weird a question that nobody understands?

Or nobody knows?

Same problem here, as I have all my 3 ipad showing the same midi network name, would love to be able to change that.

That's an easy fix. Get rid of two iPads. :)

Thanks, that did the trick.

But I have a new problem now, as I exchanged each pad with a dog, and just realized that they both have the same name.
:x
