Is there any synth out there that has the sound quality of U-He Diva?

As an emulation of a single instrument. I'd say that the TAL U-NO-LX is the most impressive I've heard to date. It absolutely nails the Juno sounds. Warts and all.

As a general emulation of a collection of synths. Diva is very impressive. I will get it when funds permit.

The beauty of keeping it in one synth is all the different modules will be able to be mixed. Imagine three detuned Minimoog sawtooth oscillators run through a super resonant, overdriven 303 filter or a buzzy Odyssey oscillator run through a sweet Jupiter 8 filter.

As I keep saying, my favorite DIVA configuration these days is the Juno DCO run through the MS20 filter. It's just so gritty, biting, and NEW. :)

Uncle E, what highpass filter do you use?
The one from Jupiter lets the lowpass scream as you can't lower the volume of the saw and square

Or do you use the reversed feedback trick?

Edit; And what envelopes? :)

All of them! :)

Sweet!

Yes, though judiciously.

The UAD-2 CE-1 chorus is a spot-on version of the choruses found in vintage Roland's. That plug-in is instant analog string synth perfection.

Speaking of the Pro-53, that plug-in is improved more by an oversampler (smoother, bigger, and cleaner sounding) than any other softsynth I've tried. I bet NI could release a Pro-54 with nothing more changed than 8x oversampling and have a huge hit on their hands.

Spam or not, I honestly think Xils Lab's products are in a class for itself, up there with U-he. I own Xils 3 LE and Poly KB CM and have demoed Oxium. They are very clean and free of artifacts. Sylenth 1 has a good sound quality too and my ABL pro has a great quality in it's own particular way. IL Harmless sounds pretty clean too. I could probably mention some more, but these come to mind as synths I own with great sound quality.

I could mention quite a few that have a decent quality but don't reach the heavens above, but the list would be too long.

Cheers

I really think TAL U-NO is the best deal in the market right now for a quality soft synth at a great price:
Price USD 35.00
We extend the 50% introductory price one week more until the 9. September 2012!!

Now that you mentioned ABL ............. Venom vs ABL vs D16? Is there more? Not really looking for the sequencer this time, just 303 synth engine

Overdriven the Venom wins my heart ... especially if you mix in a second oscillator .. sacrilege i know! but it sounds so fat!

The D16 does accurate clean 303's and the ABL does very cool distorted 303's.

Ingo, you're wrong.

As a PhD of Physics you should know the difference between numerical integration and analytical integration. If you don't then stop making assumptions, accusations and what not.
