There are so many genres and subgenres of music with amplified guitars that it is always best to include what genre you want it for when asking such a question.

For synths (Jan Hammer), to get a smooth, wall of metal sound, and reduce fizz, my fav is ACMEBarGig C-15 Metal.

Also, don't forget the effects, all of them are good here. this guy has stereo versions also of all of these so make sure to get the stereo versions of the phaser and the Uni-Vibe.
