again, in both i use the x0x, and i did not try to make em sound like 80s acid, i just tried to make em sound simple and clean (and i had lots of fun)

Apologies for the dual posts but forgot to mention...
Many thanks to the people who said learning the internal sequencer in abl2 was the way forward; you are certainly right.
I put my mind to working it out this morning and am loving it already. It's clearly the way forward for getting the best sound
