More testing shows that the CPU is a little too high for older computers (Most Melda plugins don't run too well on older systems)

Sorry if already discussed before, I have a question on the free MAnalyzer: I'd like to understand why it has a 7.1 setting when it has only a stereo input... how can the 7.1 setting be used?
(Sorry for the partial hijack, I thought this could be related to a difference between MAnalyzer and MMultiAnalyzer...
Thanks,
Mario

You have to enable surround first - go to the settings and click "Activate surround". That will make all plugins report 8in8out since then. It is disabled by default, because some hosts have problems with that.

The custom naming is good but not perfect, could do with maybe a text file for the drop down list, so this way all our standard naming conventions would be in the list, leaving only very few that needed renaming.
A nitpick maybe but would make this plugin very near to perfect for the money

You mean perfect right? 'Cos it's more than perfect for the moneyMonkage wrote:The custom naming is good but not perfect, could do with maybe a text file for the drop down list, so this way all our standard naming conventions would be in the list, leaving only very few that needed renaming.

Ok, anyway, I'll think about that, but personally I don't think people would prepare these. Maybe some automatic history... But honestly, you have several predefined names, I think that should be more than enough. We'll see.

Uh? Talking about MAnalyzer? I cannot see an "activate surround" setting... I can only set channel mode to 7.1... am I missing something?MeldaProduction wrote:You have to enable surround first - go to the settings and click "Activate surround". Aaaah, true, for some reason it is not there! Will check it out and shall be fixed in the next version. Though it probably won't be much of a use as it will sum all channels, but still...mabian wrote:Uh? Talking about MAnalyzer? I cannot see an "activate surround" setting... Errrh, most of the name are of no use for me : i do electronic music, so i'd better use "drum machine, 808, vermona, ms20, juno, backbeat, bassline" instead of "vocal, string, orchestral, guitar"...you have several predefined names, I think that should be more than enough.
Custom names would be like templates : In Reaper, it takes a while to set up custom templates, but in the ned, it is very rewarding
And what about, when you type a custom name, a tick box or something with "remember that name" or "add this name to list" ?Maybe some automatic history...
If it is technically possible, that would be great...
