It is a very good synth though.

The D16 guys making good stuff and the audio demos are not bad.
The first idea I had "oh, a SH clone.. hmm.. I don't need it". But the gui and the description says a bit different things. More features, more a modern VA (maybe with some ideas from the Roland SH?). Could be a interesting little beast!
But yes... let's wait if they have something released

I love the sound of the D16 Roland clones, but can't stand the hyper-realistic GUI's. Normally a GUI doesn't bother me, but these particular UI's make these synths unnecessarily difficult to use. Take the drum machines for instance: how much more useful would they be with a Tremor like pattern sequencer? These GUI's take all the necessarily bad aspects of hardware design, and just add the displeasure of replacing my fingertips with many awkward mouse clicks.
I try and convince myself that it's a character thing, and I should adjust and learn to enjoy the quirky workflows, but you know what...when it comes down to it: I just want to be able to work quickly. That means a clean, and streamlined UI that takes advantages of the benefits of software.

The audio demos are different, remembers me more to good quality digital VA. It doesn't sound analog to me, comparable eventually more with Tone2 Saurus.

the advert says it's 8 synths in one. How is that possible?

There are eight different layers (synths) that can be triggered on one midi channel or separately.
Been looking forward to this!

I have just realized that with the additional features and the Superasw oscillators Lush-101 looks more and more like FXpansion Strobe or like a mixture of a SH-101 and a JP-8000...
I hope that besides the focus on additional features it could produce an authentic SH-101 sound...
I am happy that some developers like TAL focus on real authentic emulations like U-NO-LX without tons of extra features.
