Houston works really well, wife tells me they were doing roadworks for about 30 years, getting this inner and outer ring system going.
Dallas has so many freeway exits to the left and right it's hard to know where straight ahead is.
All I know of LA is Terminal 2 at LAX where I have spent unfortunately quite a bit of time in transit to the outer rim here...must stay in LA sometime, near a nice beach perhaps.

Thanks for posting that!

I have only been to Hawaii/Honolulu once and that was some 26 years ago. It's wasn't terrific back then.

Traffic is good here compared to what it was. The Sac was just horrendous at one time. It's still a city, there is still traffic, but it's not as bad as it was.

Well, isn't THAT a bummer. Got the new pups and the screws on the old one are too big. (I thought all these pups were supposed to be the same

Can't you just use the shiny new screws that came with your Dimarzio's?

The shinny new screws are all a) too long anyways and b) not screw in.

I will need to get the screws from Rich and ibanezrulz and use wood filler IF I keep the guitar. As much as I like many things about it, it's a MII guitar and I'm starting to just be worried.

Missed this a couple of days ago. Well remember that I've driven in Boston traffic, and I'd take Boston traffic over traffic in the south east any day!

Massholes might be massholes, but they have some driving ability at least!

This is a follow-up to an earlier post I made in this thread...

I now have two custom Vibrance guitars made for me (and another on the way). The builder Craig Collins has been really awesome about every last detail along the way. He also hired me recently (freelance work) to produce some comparative video demos to demonstrate the different tonal variations between woods, pick-ups, etc.. I'm halfway through the filming stage and hope to have the demo videos up and running soon. Even folks who have no interest in buying a Vibrance guitar might find the video and audio clips interesting for the tonal comparisons between species. All of his guitars use American Black Walnut backs/sides/neck-thrus, but the top woods are all different: Wenge, Padauk, Spalted Maple, Ambrosia Maple, Bubinga, Walnut Burl, and straight-grain Walnut. They all have their own personalities for sure. He is also in the middle of his next run of guitars and those will have tops from Purpleheart (already spoken for), another Bubinga (mine), Canarywood, Bloodwood, and another Walnut Burl, and another Spalted Maple. Pretty awesome tops (I've seen them). The new Spalted Maple he had in the works is unreal. At any rate, my upcoming Bubinga Vibrance Double-Cut is just a few short weeks away so I'm super excited. The Bubinga has a really mellow tone and has a lot of rich/warm overtones. I'm thinking it will really shine with buttery smooth clean tones that are on the verge of breakup...His two other Bubinga guitars definitely go there.

They also now have some nicer pics up on their website (more freelance work from yours truly) at http://www.vibranceguitars.com along with some initial comparative audio clips that I put together for them. There's definitely some eye candy there in the Gallery sections.

Here is my next guitar as of 6 months now, modded and customized somewhat Cort X-6, not particularly expensive but I like it, Sprayed the pick ups EMG selects :

I want to buy a Fender Telecaster Studio guitar next and a Gibson Les Paul Studio to use with Guitar Rig. Since im getting into Industrial/Rock & Metal based stuff these seem like obvious choices.

I do not have a driving license and therefore can not legally drive (So obviously I do not). Also the amount of medication I have to have is well above the level that I would be happy to drive on.

So I have to hope that I can get lifts around or use public transport

I have to drive. I sometimes worry about it because I have to take a lot of meds. I get kinda pissed at other drivers

But when this car and the "standby" one I have (my folk old camery) die, that will be the end of that. That's a scary thought. Maybe my folks will croak and leave me the the matching lexus's (naw, they'll probably give all of it to someone else)

Erm,,,, I'd have to disagree on that one. Tele's are great for country and blues. LP's are more classic (70's) Rock. Schecter's and BC Rich (the american made ones) Were all the rage in early early Midwest industrial and heavy metal as they had more throat. It wasn't until west coast metal that you saw ibby's and charvel's take center stage.
