You can't blame the developers. Blame Apple for the stupid OS they created. Or run the software in a true productive machine, where you can do all of this for ages.Keebo wrote:Somewhat off topic...
IMO, until developers have a simple cohesive method of sharing between apps, I look at it as only an interesting but frustrating hobby. Yes, some apps do this better than others and I have been successful on occasion as I am sure others have as well.
Getting ACP, background audio, Core MIDI, etc. between apps is not as straight forward as it should be (not counting external MIDI via hardware or WIFI). Here's

You might be able to do it for ages on a true productive machine, but you can't do it on the toilet or on the bus!fmr wrote:You can't blame the developers. Blame Apple for the stupid OS they created. Or run the software in a true productive machine, where you can do all of this for ages.

I didn't blame the developers. I don't want to be an Apple basher but it is their OS and regulations that prevents developers from pursuing a common method of simpler interactive use.fmr wrote:You can't blame the developers. I do in fact run great software in a number of DAWs with great interactivity. But that is on a desktop machine as my laptop has bitten the dust.
I still enjoy mobile creativity on my iDevices and hope to see it mature as time progresses.

The demo didn't show that much off. Still I like PPG Wave, and might just as easily pick this one up.

Got the update installed. Still buggy.
Will not work at all with Phaedre, Little Midi Machine, Sound Prism Pro and StepPolyArp. If you have WaveGenerator minimized, open one of these and try bringing PPG back, it will not appear. It is still working with Genome. I can load Animoog or Alchemy and it seems fine....had a blast running a drone in the background with Alchemy and paying with WaveGenerator over top....
Why the issues with the Midi Apps?

---I never got a reply back about using the PPG with my Griffin Studio Connect, right now it blows big time even though my other apps don't seem to have a problem. I will update and see if this helps, I hope so otherwise I have a $20.00 app that sounds great as long as I don't try to use it...

I am glad to have the answer from the member of production team!
It is very typical of Mr. Palms. He doesn't use popular terms like resonance and still keep using emphasis.
Nevertheless, it is the best synth app for sure.
I hope that you'd implement more variations in filter modes like Comb or other types of filters in next updates.
Please keep updating this brilliant synth.

Presets seem the same as before? Thought maybe there would be new ones, did they just tweak the existing ones?
