I like the idea but, IMHO, underpowered & overpriced.

Yuper it looks cool, one guy said you can't load anything into it, so it's that VS. hardware amp sims, romplers.

Muse Receptor is the box to get for loading your own instruments,

but for users lacking a comprehensive software collection,
and ready to 'take the plunge', this one has around $500 of software
with the 4 gig of UVI samples, and some useful freeware.

Supposing the common 15% sales at MF and zzounds, thats $850 - $500 in software,
so $350 for a versatile hardware interface, with unique software integration,
on a nimble linux computer, without the text editor wars

Hi,

The version of Alchemy included with this deal is Alchemy Player, with the same presets that are included with the free version from our site. Unfortunately we have not been able to update the version of Player that is shipped with Muse products due to some graphics library incompatibilities. Hopefully that is going to change with the release of v1.50 since our GUI developer has a Muse for testing and he says it's now working.

For CamelPhat and CamelSpace, AFAIK these are the earlier versions of the plugins i.e. not updated to v1.50 / 3.50.

I have no experience of any Muse gear but it certainly looks like good value once all the software is taken in to account. It's basically guaranteed to run trouble free as it's tested for this specific purpose.
