Wusik Eve 3 (Promo over now!!)

I really appreciate the generoisty of sharing this plug-in!

Unfortunately, I'm finding it impossible to install correctly on my computer - Mac OS 10.6.8, in eith logic 9.1.7 or Ableton 9.1.4

Here are the installation instructions on the WUSIK website:

"Pick either Windows or MAC ZIP file and extract to your VST/Plugins folder.

Create a "EVE DATA" folder and extract the "DATA Files" ZIP file there,
and any other "Set of Sounds" ZIP files.

MAC VST/AU: the EVE Data path should be like this: "/Applications/Wusik.com/EVE/EVE Data"
You can also place EVE Data to another drive,
once EVE starts up it asks where EVE Data is located at. (just keep the folder name "EVE Data")"

This is what my folder arrangement looks like on my computer:

But when I load EVE in either Logic or Ableton, I get "can't find skins/data" messages.

I've also tried moving the contents of the individual "Data Files" and "Set of sounds" folders directly into the "EVE Data" folder, but no luck.

Incidentally, EVE shows up in folders for either Nusofting or Dashsignature in my AU libraries... if I had an older demo version of EVE, do I need to do anything other than let the new AU/VST automatically overwrite them?

Any help greatly appreciated.

The problem is that its trying to use the data from the older EVE, and it won't work. You need to find that data folder and move all the EVE DATA contents there instead.

suggestion for someone bored with lot of free times, to come with other colors combination, maybe a darker skin, or more sober ,maybe like this :

here's one that is much easier on the eyes (and blue). i downloaded it from the thread and it took a second to figure it out (cuz i'm thick like that). take the new skin folder and retitle it "default," rename the original default folder to something else (I went with EVE original) and then put your new skin in the Eve skins folder and it will turn up when you open EVE. they guy who made this did a real nice job.

i like it!






my poor attempt:

but im no good at this, the only thing i do is "replace color" then everything become distorted, letters, knobs borders, even couldn,t get the effects with the same background color as the panel so gave each one a different color

I see the latest version is 3.04, and on my compute i already have 3.02 : i can't find any changelog, should i update my version (and can i do it by just unzipping the .DLL plugin file), or should i stay with my older version ?
