Any news on the new audio features in iOS6?

Beyond just reading about the names mentioned on the Apple presentation slide- I was hoping we would get concrete stuff today with the release of iOS6.

Just to be clear, background audio does not require ios6.

All we need now is for GarageBand to support audiobus and we are all set...

I really. really , really want support for multiple audio outputs. iOS supports multiple inputs, but still just stereo out. The iPad could be an extremely stable and good for backingtrack and click track device! It would be heaven if i just could get atleast two more outputs.
