Yup. But nothing I need. I'll prolly hold out till K10.BERFAB wrote:I also have KU8. New in the NI lineup are Giant, Damage, Evolve, and the new Premium Tube series. Along with some Maschine paks, that would be quite a value. Perhaps you're correct. We'll see.![]()

You may not like NI for whatever reason, but the fact is that Kontakt is, and has been for quite some time, the industry standard for native samplers.Krakatau wrote:that what i thought too...jsp1979 wrote:Uhhhh......BERFAB wrote:

Yes, there are other great samplers out there, and a few have actually caught up to Kontakt in the performance department. But the fact remains that it is far and away the most popular format for 3rd party devs.

I think the objection is over who wrote Reason, not whether Kontakt is a leader.BERFAB wrote:You may not like NI for whatever reason, but the fact is that Kontakt is, and has been for quite some time, the industry standard for native samplers.Krakatau wrote:that what i thought too...jsp1979 wrote:Uhhhh......BERFAB wrote:

Yikes! I've got to stop breathing those fumes on the way to work. I meant Reaktor of course.AnalogGuy1 wrote:I think the objection is over who wrote Reason, not whether Kontakt is a leader.BERFAB wrote:You may not like NI for whatever reason, but the fact is that Kontakt is, and has been for quite some time, the industry standard for native samplers.Krakatau wrote:that what i thought too...jsp1979 wrote:Uhhhh......BERFAB wrote:

Yep. I haven't got mine updated to 1.8 yet, trying to wait and see what people are saying stability wise. So far, hardly ANYONE on any forums has anything to say (except the NI maschine forum, and they are so bad 99% of the time, it's just TOO HARD to sift through the guys who've never been laid telling everyone else off)

I'm sure there will be some great updates coming with Komplete9.
I person I spoke to last week from NI confirmed the new Softube/NI Premium Tube series will be part of K9,I'm not sure which version it will be included in(K9U ?)
I was telling him,I wish someone like NI would develop a good funk/pop horn VI because most if not all of them suck!
He said as a matter of fact there will be a new Horn & Horn Section VI in K9 that he was really excited about ,he said it will be pretty amazing!
I'm sure they also have a few other worthwhile products thrown in to induce Komplete users to upgrade.
As a K8U user I'm looking forward to K9U,if they add these & 1 or 2 others & update,Massive,Reaktor&Battery, I for 1 will be happy to upgrade as soon as I find a good deal.

If he knows it will be included, then it shouldn't be too much longer for an announcement.
Right?
