A perfect emulation of a substandard analog. :P

Will do, sir!

Now, if the beta is in keeping with the total amount of development time, we might even get our hands on LuSH by summer 2013! ;)

Funny, the list of prolific musicians who are also incorrigible gear sluts is longer than I can fit in my head at the moment. Especially keyboard/synthesis types.

What are you talking about?

Of course, many are not, and that's fine too, but to say musical prolificity and gear over-promiscuity are mutually exclusive is dumb. And that low-featured gear you speak of is usually the best sounding and quickest to work with anyway.

So, if you feel software is as good as you need, hurrah for you. Some of it is really great and fun to use. I think I own all of it... almost. Doesn't mean I use all of it at the same time... I'll forget instruments for months only to rediscover them and have fun being inspired by what ever it was that made me buy it in the first place.

But I'll whip out any of my analogs for a solid sounding bass line any day of the week. I just think they sound better.

Really? Where did you get that statistic from?

So, the Juno-60 is a substandard analogue? And the SH-101? Is it a superstandard analogue?

Because it is considered as the holy grail of plugin programming i guess. Even though, afaic, there is not such thing as a "holy grail" when it comes to programming...

Early day Synths, like Jupiter-4, tried to have patches sounding like real keyboards and people complained that it was not the real thing. Funny to see how the new VA Synths now have the same fate.

Certain synths just have a character that dates them though. Yamaha dx7 for instance. It doesnt sound realistic either , yet it was Used on everything in the 80s , now never used , but i suspect someone will resurrect it again at some stage , because its particular brand of fm will be conducive to whatever the equivalent of the wobble will be in 20 years time.

yep for me - just average. I heard nothing great enough to even want to demo this synth

So you wouldn't demo the synth based solely on audio demos? To be honest I'm not even bothering to listen to the audio demos anymore....I want to find out what it sounds like under my control. Nothing else matters....

If it sounds like crap and I'm willing to be it won't then it's delete and forget......if it sounds good then it's on to the Buy Now button.....

Another passive aggressive attack on Diva from kvr's most consistent passive aggressive.
I dismiss most, if not all of what you post, for many reasons.
But enough of telling you what a plank you are, when are the soundbanks for sale spams going to start?

Honestly, it's not one of my favorites.

Can anyone vouch for it being a good Juno emulation anyway?
