Superb Lounge A part.

Sounds organic, groovy in a sweet way, natural, and not so natural, in a good way as well.

I found the B part/end changing the mood too much, or .... not enough

, with A. Also, eventually, something could "sing" somewhere. Friendly critics, dont take it too hard. But you're definitely on something with the first part -imho-

I'm about half in agreement with this. The issue is that while making "beat" songs, I'm also trying to make a cohesive album. So in the last part I'm trying to have a bit of a chaotic transition. The kick and snare that start playing over all of it are the same kick and snares I'm going to have in the next track if that makes sense.

By sing, do you mean something could break out as a lead? I've definitely considered this, but it's difficult while trying to avoid cheesyness when it's wayyy downtempo!. (Maybe it's just my problem) I started music with guitar, so when I try to do lead stuff electronically it always ends up sounding like a youtube demo for one of those roland guitar synths

This is properly wicked! Have you been listening to Flying Lotus and the rest of the LA lot? Love the melodic and rhtyhmic switch up near the end - the great resampling work is paticularly evident on the melodic stuff in that end bit. Kinda reminds me of Lone (especially his earlier hip-hop material) in particular, love the resampling work in his stuff.

Thank you! I have been for a few years now

This album will hopefully help me break into the scene. Getting gigs lined up for the fall!

It's a cool track. Would like to hear more. I do like the end. If your idea is to go into something else that's fine. As a sole track going back to the first half or continuing with the faster pace is what I want to hear.

This was absolutely the finest piece of music I've heard all day. I'll certainly remember the cassette player trick for later. The grit really makes the piece stand out. It dosen't sound normal at all, but from some older, weirder, cooler reality. 2 six-fingered thumbs way up!

AWESOME. I love the gritty sample and pitched sound, and the drums are tight. Sounded great on laptop speakers, and someone mentioned bass so I'm eager to plug in soon to listen again...

I agree with Lotuzia about the second part.
I think the "big" snare drum in the end is quite a dream breaker...
I understand it's intended but I didn't want to have my dream taken away
