MIDI clock signal

I'm using Cantabile mainly for backing tracks. All my tacks are the same length and the same start point so I don't use any of Cantabile's syncing features or metronome for playback. I want to send a MIDI clock signal to a lighting system so we can sync some lighting changes to the backing tracks. I'm not sure what Cantabile's MIDI clock is looking at for a reference point. Does anyone know if it's looking at the tempo info in the media files or is it tied to the internal metronome?

Hi
If a given midi file is designated 'Master' then Cantabile will follow its tempo and the midi clock transmitted will reflect that.

If u make a midi track in your DAW, place midi events in the correct place and then export the audio and a midi file which have rhe same start point I'm pretty confident sync will be good
