It's been quite a while since I worked on this style of loop samples, and the new material is that much better for it. Evolved techniques, fresh synths & patches, and some new concepts. Plus, some real (and resynthesized) guitar & bass loops, and some individual beat kits, ie = kick/snare/hats. In addition to all the old favorites, like Zingers, and Clanks to name just a couple.

It is available as of right now ! http://www.producerloops.com/Download-P ... Vol-4.html

The first (top) demo was made by KvR local musician & sound designer - 3ee. So stop by and show some love by checking it out, and grab the little freebee pack while you're there.

Thanks for taking a look. :)

I tried the demo loops. Good stuff! The guitar cuts sounds good and I like those glitchy drums! :)

Thanks. :)

The guitar is my old Ibanez uhh, RG550 if I recall the model number correctly, from the late 1980's, ran through my Guitarport and using my Tone Sets patch collections. /blatant advert ha-ha. Some of them got resynthesized after that, but a lot of them are fairly 'raw' as far as that goes, and mostly shorter bits that can be used more for dramatics or 'punctuation'. And there are a few little riffs that seemed to fit in well without being too signature or anything for daily use.

And as usual, the drums were from everywhere, all manner of synths, and samples. Sampled hits/clanks/one-shots courtesy of my drummer friend Lance Roethle. I'm pretty sure he provided me with some clanks for the first 3 volumes too. I had used some samples that someone had posted years ago, but then Lance just randomly gave me a cdr full on recordings he did with his portable set up and so I chopped those up and started making some loops. And speaking of the beat material in Vol 4, there are a number of (ie = 10 or so if I recall) sets that are split apart via - kick/snare/hihat. But the glitchy stuff is pretty much one-take, couldn't really seperate it out like that, and each track would sound even weirder without the others I think ha-ha.

Sales are going well, people really seem to be liking it, and I just wanted to urge everyone to check it out this weekend. The demo is short and rockin', thanks to KvR local 3ee. He really brought his skillz to the demo for AG4. Mine is the 2nd demo, and I took that opportunity to show off a slower more dirge-like side of the collection. All of the loops/one shots used in both demos are included in the full set, and then some MORE were added ! You won't be disappointed if you like the demos, the full set will seem like a steal. 8)

The freebee pack was a bit thin on this one, they didn't ask me to choose it unfortunately, time flies when I'm in school and they have to run a full-time company and all. But I'd be happy to answer any questions about the material in it, or the full pack if you have purchased that. Just please understand that some of the stuff was made just one-off, ie = like I was testing out a synth or technique and just thought it was cool enough to spend an hour or three and make 4 loops to save/document the time spent, so I might not be able to help anyone recreate every single loop in the pack ha-ha. I may have to guess in some cases. But none the less, I'd be happy to try and help point anyone in the "production direction" of that-style-as-I-have-managed-to-do-it. :)

Looks like it's up to #11. And just a reminder to check it out if you haven't had time to yet, KvR local musician and sound designer 3ee made the first demo and it rocks if do say so myself. Any questions or comments are welcome. :)

AG4 is #1 on the -Ambient- chart now. :) Thanks to all who have taken a listen to the demo and/or purchased a copy. If you like what you hear in the demo, you will certainly appreciate the full set. Every single loop sample in the demo and then some are included. It's a virtual toolbox for your productions, just like the first 3 Volumes were, only with some new additional folders full of sounds, and no increase in price. Ie = more of what you liked, and more that you will probably like. :)

AG4 is on sale now, for 20% off, starting at only $15.89 (U.S.) Grab the freebee pack to see how a few of the loop samples sound in your mixes. Then check the demos, if you like those, it'll be a no brainer at that price. 8)

There is a review of Ambient Glitch Vol 4 in the new (January 2013 issue I believe) Keys magazine. I'm told it's a German language magazine, so if you have access to that one, check it out. :)

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who has checked it out and/or purchased a copy. It really is a bargain at the normal price. And if you catch it on sale, wow, good luck beating that deal for that much and that style of material. 8)

Did anyone get a chance to check out the review in that (German) Keys magazine ? We're not allowed to reprint it yet, but I'm sure at least a few of my KvR peeps have a subscription or picked it up to read on the ride to/from work or something. :)

For those of you who are fans of the AG series, you'll be glad to hear that the wait for Vol 5 will not be as long. I would estimate that it should be done and released before summer, possibly even sooner, but it sure won't be another year like the wait between the first 3 volumes, and #4.

As a bonus offer, anyone who purchases Vol 4 this weekend, just grab a screenshot of your checkout/receipt, and pm me, we'll get you a free copy of Bio-Mechanic Beats 1 or 2, your choice. As a special thank you for the support. :)
