These would be lovely if they where not curved back, it's a very strange effect and quite literally makes me feel dizzy.

Yep, it bothers some people. We plan to do another without the perspective in the next major update. Maybe even sooner.

And yes, you can change the mod-source selection dials to drop-down menus. Just click the product name to bring up the Options Dialog and select "mod-source dials as dropdowns". I still prefer the dials though, they're faster!

And don't forget there's tool tips too, anything you can't read just roll over and all will be revealed.

+1 for the most stuff posted here though. It seems it's not always a matter of taste.
