I just put my third party libraries in the same folder as the factory library then they all show up under the same tab in the libraries folder anyway, no need to hack the registry

It would be nice if NI just allowed this then no hacks would exist.
Of course people want to see their lovely kontakt libraries in glorious color in one place.
I like NI but as a company their priorities are skewed.

The Registry is part of the Operating System (Windows or how this thingy is called on Mac) and the keys are part of the registry. So I do not change the software, only my system configuration.
Btw., if i would follow your argumentation, even moving the libraries would violate the software-licence. This changes the default keys, too.

Hello all!
I just created another program that does not touch the registry and allows the same thing.
This program generates files that allow you to install the libraries tab "add library".
My question:
The EULA is still not respected here?

It's THEIR private use of THEIR software that they legitimately own.
Also, they are not bypassing any security or protection of the software by doing so.

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.
