That looks beautiful. Tad dark for my likes, but very tastefully done.

What is it?

Including space ships diagrams!

Not to digress though.
wow that one is incredible, I like a lot the high contrast.
I think it was for a video game or something. Would make a cool synth though :)

I think the GUI is art, and inspiring as much as a good sounding synth. I'd like to see more devs make artistic statements with GUI's like this and some others. Many do already and get a lot of good GUI's though, but it feels we could still do with more.

Thanks for the nice words.
It's NuSofting DK+2. A very underrated drum plugin.
I have Battery 3, RMV and Geist but DK+2 is the one I use the most for custom kits.

I assume it's not released yet? I can only see 1.5 on their website. Looks cool, I'll check it out as I was thinking of getting Geist but it costs a lot.

While I agree that it is simply GORGEOUS to look at, I feel that if I was using it as a synth to create music my eyes would hurt after a bit. GUI's for synths can be beautiful, but they must also be ergonomic, functional and easy on the eyes.

It was released some months ago but their website hasn't really been updated.
Geist is absolutely stellar and can do hundreds of things DK+2 can't but still DK+2 is quick and easy. The step sequencer is the best I've ever seen and it also has pattern drag-and-drop into your host.
You can check it out here: http://nusofting.liqihsynth.com/dkplus2.0.html
I really didn't like the stock GUI and that's why I made another one from scratch...

This is a masterpiece of GUI, very light textures, but remains minimalistic.

The cleverness and sheer logic of the Fabfilter stuff is hard to match, look at their latest plugin how the whole screen is used with color and everything. It just makes so much sense and looks great too:

I made this for the sheer fun of it, because I sampled my drummer's Alesis D4 and wanted it to have a semi-decent GUI, even if not made available publicly.

BTW, does anyone know if I can legally make this sampled D4 available for you guys (free, of course) without getting drawn and quartered by Alesis?

I'm no lawyer, but I mean there are so many samplesets of drum machines available on the net (free and even commercial ones), I couldn't imagine you'd run into problems.

Using that GUI (which is nice btw.) with the company's name on it might be another story though. (just my thoughts).

Anyways, making it available would definately be much appreciated.

edit:
Missed somehow that you already modified the name on the actual GUI, should be fine then me thinks (but as I said, don't take it for granted :).)

I know, but just because they're there doesn't mean it's not wrong... :?
